Panerai means different things to different collectors, but wherever you stand on the spectrum, there's no denying that these things have presence!

Although by no means diminutive, Panerai watches — with their excellent "cushion" case design that has become synonymous with the brand — do have a way of wearing smaller than advertised. 

This PAM00521 Radiomir from circa the 2010s, is something else... coming in at 47mm, it is finished in platinum, with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a beautifully finished 'scalloped' bezel. It features a luminous matte black 'sandwich' dial with a running seconds counter at 9:00, a matching handset, a signed brown alligator leather strap with a signed white gold deployant clasp, and Panerai's Calibre OP XXVII hand-cranking movement - thankfully visible via its sapphire exhibition caseback.

Beautiful, versatile, and quintessentially Panerai, this piece packs a massive punch in an understated way.
